Hello awesome MTG/Commander fans! I hope that your day is going super mega well! Today I wanted to knock out my Tier list for Bloomburrrow as Commanders. I will not be adding in the Commander set since they are made for it. Ready?

Bloomburrow Commanders Tier List

S Tier

Let's start with these five S Tier leaders! Baylen turns tapping of tokens into mana ramp, card draw or win con, and was built around here by Nigel - https://www.coolstuffinc.com/a/nigelhurtz-seo-07312024-brewing-budget-commander-with-baylen-the-haymaker. Bria gives your dorks prowess and then turns noncritter casts to unblockable dorks, so it's more of a red-zone threat. Glarb lets you cast your 4+ mana value and drop lands from your library's top, I built around that. You can tap to surveil to sculpt your library's top. Lumra is a mono-Green land size win con with the mill and free Splendid Reclamation added it to grow its size. Ygra costs five for an on curve 6/6 ward sac a Food, and all dorks are Food, and when Foods die you'll grow this in size twice permanently. Love it leading a Food deck since it turns all dorks into them, yours and foes' too!

A Tier

Now let's turn to our 4 A Tier! Two are mono-colored, the Dragonhhawk costs five for an on curve 5/5 flyer that exiles and makes castable cards from your library when it arrives or attacks, equal to your high-powered dork count. The Blue one that costs a rougher four mana has size equal to your Island count, and then an ETB/attack trigger to toss a Flood counter on a land and it becomes an Island too. Then the first instant or sorcery you cast each turn is reduced in Blue mana equal to your Flood counter count! Nasty!

Helga also cares about 4 cast stuff, this time just for dorks and then you'll draw, gain life, and then toss a counter here. You can also tap this Bant lady to make mana equal to her power for pricier things. Mabel costs three for a 3/3 Mice lord that makes Cragflame on arrival to the battlefield to equip for 2 to increase size and give haste, vigilance and trample too, love this on turn 5 with equip for a 4/4 hasted swinging vigilance and trampler. Love this loads!

B Tier

Another 4 at B tier! Alania turns casts of your first instant, sorcery or Otter this turn into a mana-free copy if you give a card to a foe. I'm sure many would love to Brainstorm or Pongify twice for a card. Byrke has a smaller 4/4 size with an ETB trigger to toss a +1/+1 counters on two and an attack trigger for them to double their counters. Maha I built around here (https://www.coolstuffinc.com/a/abesargent-08062024-killing-one-toughness-dorks-with-maha turns opposing dorks to one toughness to clear out and has a sizeable red zone body with great protection in ward form. Vren also has ward, not as good, and when an opposing dork would die you can exile it and then in your EOT you'll make 1/1 Rat tokens for each dork exiled this way and then they get +1/+1 for each Rat you control, so a bit of a Rat lord there!

C Tier

Now let's turn to the middle Tier with all new Lord Commanders, usually of unsupported types. Camellia is a Squirrel lord, gives them menace and then turns sacked Foods into Squirrels. Clement is a vigilant Frog tapper for Blue or Green mana for dorks only. Finneas is vigilant too with reach and then has an attack trigger to perma pump your tokens and Rabbits and then draw if enough power. Gev has ward, turns Lizard casts into pinging one foe, which will pump your dorks that arrive later.

Kastral has a Bird combat damage trigger to draw, drop one free with a finality counter, or pump the team. Muerra has a Raccoon mana maker on your first main phase, and then an expend leader for 4 or 8 to gain life or impulse cast two. Wick is Grixis colored Rat lover that turns their arrival into 1/1 Snail if you don't control, or pump the one you do and then you can sac the Snail to Shock each foe and draw equal to its power. Zoraline has flying, vigilance, and then when Bats attack you gain life and then when she you can spend Orzhov mana and pay life to return a cheap nonland to the battlefield with a finality counter on it.

D Tier

Let' s finish with this four-set! Beza is mono-White and then has an ETB ability if someone has more stuff that you like lands, life, dorks and cards, but just once, and then your foe's may not have what you are needing to look for. The Gruul one costs a rough four and X with a 5/5 trample body and then Impulse digs X cards when he ETBs and then you can drop another land. He's not bad but that cost? Rough. Kitsa is cheap, for a two drop with prowess and vigilance and taps to draw and discard (looting) and you can spend two to copy a cheap spell you control but only if he's big. Too many breaks there and just one color. The Rakdos three-drop menace is last with a combat damage trigger to a foe to exile until you reveal a nonland and you can cast it for free if you discard a card. No one wants to do that! There's no normal casts allowed.
